She received a national award in 2008 for Excellence in School Music Education from the Australian Government, being one of two recipients in NSW.
Jenny received an Outstanding Professional Service Award from the Professional Teachers’ Council NSW, 2012.
Jenny is also the secretary of the NSW chapter of the Australian Society for Music Education (ASME) which promotes advocacy and professional development for music teachers.
