Comparative analysis of detention and community service delivery models

Past project

The aim of this project is to compare the elements and practices that are currently considered most effective in community and detention service delivery models to resolve immigration status. It examines the role of detention and alternative services in relation to overall migration and refugee policy in each of the five countries under study: the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and the Netherlands. The research also examines any recent changes to policies and new developments to expedite resolution of immigration status.
