Thesis Title

Investigation into the cognitive systems underlying increases and decreases in English language proficiency.



My current research project seeks to identify and advance more efficient and effective ESL teaching and learning techniques through an immediate focus on construction and automation of knowledge in the strategic development of English language proficiency. The learning exercises involve practicing with pre-determined English prepositions for half an hour on four consecutive days. The learning practice tasks as well as the tests are presented to research participants on UNSW Moodle.
