Summary

This study examined teachers' responses to the CLT-oriented curriculum under the sociocultural perspective. The questions raised were how teachers constructed their beliefs and practices within their contexts and how their beliefs and practices served to construct the contexts. The study puts forward to implications for teacher education and reform implementation.
