Why Join a Club or Society?

Joining a club or society is a great way of meeting people who share your interests, and with over 300 options available you’ll be able to choose one that suits you. When you study at the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences you automatically become a member of the UNSW Arts Society: ArtsSoc.

Take your university experience beyond the classroom through study overseas or a professional experience opportunity. You can also enrol in our Arts & Social Sciences Peer Mentoring Program as either a mentee or a mentor.

Develop professional skills by volunteering to take an important role within your choice of club or society. Many of these volunteer opportunities are approved by UNSW Advantages and are eligible for recognition on your Higher Graduation Statement (AHEGS).

The UNSW Arts Society (ArtSoc) is for students who are currently studying any UNSW Arts & Social Sciences degrees.

ArtsSoc provides engagement and support for current students with their university experience. You’ll enjoy regular BBQs, mentoring, parties, talks and many more social activities.

Arc is UNSW’s student life organisation, offering activities and events outside the classroom, from volunteering opportunities and Roundhouse parties to clubs and societies.
