Why study Gifted Education?

The UNSW Graduate Certificate in Education (Gift Education) is designed to equip teachers with comprehensive training to meet the needs of gifted students.

In particular, the program explores the underlying theories of gifted education and identifies some of the ways in which these theories may be integrated within the context of Australian schools. Furthermore, the program has a strong focus on developing teacher skills to support gifted students in all environments.

The six-month program of study is designed for qualified teachers and other educational professionals who wish to upgrade their knowledge and skills in gifted education.
