Commencing PhD Candidates (from Semester 1, 2015)
Candidates must complete the following core online courses:
- Working with your supervisor
- Research methods in literature review
- Project management in the research context
Additionally, it is highly recommended that commencing PhD students attend the year one skills workshop.
Commencing Masters by Research/Master of Philosophy students (from Semester 1, 2015)
It is highly recommended that students commencing a Masters by Research or Master of Philosophy degree, attend the year one skills workshop. You may then like to consult with your supervisor about the most relevant online courses and workshops for your needs.
You are encouraged to complete as many of the online Epigeum courses, as you would like.
Please note, that if you apply to transfer to the PhD after your first year of study, you will be required to have completed the core courses, which are compulsory for PhD confirmation.
All other candidates
PhD candidates in the second semester of candidature should consider enrolling in the methodology/ methods workshop.
All other candidates may like to consult with their supervisor regarding which courses and workshops would be best suited to you, in your current stage of candidature.
All candidates are encouraged to complete all the online courses throughout their candidature.
