Strategic assessment of the children's services industry

Past project

While in Australia and internationally demand and supply of services for children in their preschool years (ages 0-6) have both grown, there remain areas and groups for whom it is difficult to access child care and preschool. National and international inquiries have called for a national strategy to better coordinate the diversity of services and policies at federal, state and local government levels by state, community and privately operated services. The project aimed to support the development of more strategic approaches to the planning and provision of children's services in an Australian context.
