The National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children is a Council of Australian Government’s initiative which runs until 2020. It involves the commonwealth Government, State and Territory governments and the NGO sector. The project entailed a literature review and consultation with key stakeholders in each state and territory. The project was led by Professor Marie Connolly from University of Melbourne, and included Professor Aron Shlonsky (UoM), Dr Robyn Mildon (Parenting Research Centre) and Professor Ilan Katz from SPRC.
