Led by the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, the project produced practical best practice guidelines and examples for recruitment, support, training and retention to optimise outcomes for people with disability. The guide for NDIS disability support providers addresses diverse individual needs including service users and workers from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds; CALD populations; different needs in metro, rural and remote locations; and it includes strategies for recruiting younger workers.
