Ageing and Australian Disability Enterprises

Past project

The ageing of the business services workforce (a cohort of approximately 18,000 people with moderate to severe disability) presents considerable challenges for the business services sector and the Australian Government, which has responsibility for employment of people with disability in business services as well as aged care. The research has close alignment with the overall FaHCSIA purpose of improving the lives of Australians by identifying opportunities to build capacity and wellbeing of individuals, families and communities. It also strongly supports the strategic themes of assisting those most disadvantaged, encouraging economic and social participation and focusing on early intervention.
