Behrouz Boochani speaks to UNSW School of Social Sciences

Recently a group of UNSW School of Social Sciences students had the opportunity to ask Behrouz a series of questions. His responses were filmed while he was detained on Manus Island.

Behrouz Boochani is a Kurdish-Iranian refugee and award-winning writer. His is also an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Social Sciences at UNSW Sydney and participates in range of events and lectures through his involvement with the Forced Migration Research Network.


Behrouz will feature in a Q&A discussion with Simon Kurian, Director of the feature-length documentary ‘Stop the Boats’ at UNSW Sydney on 22 November 2019.
