The two-day Mini Certificate of Gifted Education is our most in-demand professional learning workshop, and has been revised and updated for 2021 with current research and new activities.
GERRIC will help you to:
- Identify gifted and talented students
- Differentiate the curriculum for your high-ability students
- Implement ability grouping or acceleration with your students
- Understand gifted education best practices
*Please note that attendance for all hours is mandatory . No partial attendance will be able to receive accreditation, so please plan your travel and commitments accordingly.
Online course
We have been running our Mini-COGE Online Course since April 2020 with great success and have been working hard to make sure this format has the same highly-researched content, delivered in a way that works best for online learning.

Where is the Mini-COGE held and how do I get there?
The School of Education is located within the Morven Brown Building C20.

We recommend taking public transport whenever possible. Click here for public transport options. To reach UNSW from Central via public transport you can catch the L2 Randwick or L3 Kingsford Light Rail services or regular bus services - including routes 393 and 395. From Circular Quay, Martin Place and St. James, UNSW can be reached via the 392, 394, L94, 396, 397 and 399. The L2 and L3 also runs between UNSW and Circular Quay.
Please note that if you choose to drive, parking is expensive: it will cost you around $50 per day. Limited pay-per-hour parking is available in the Botany St car park adjacent to the AGSM Building, on the upper levels as marked.
