Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. is a theatrical assault – a detonation of what womanhood means in the 21st Century. The play examines the language, behaviour and forces that shape gender and the lives of women, and asks what is stopping us from doing something truly radical to change these.
Playwright Alice Birch has created theatre that doesn’t behave itself; an apt metaphor for the mess we’ve got ourselves into. Director Anthea Williams, with the Creative Practice Lab and UNSW students, has created a welcome lesson in disobedience.
Audience numbers are strictly limited.
Bookings essential.
