Supporting families who have a child with a disability

Past project

Families First Inner West investigated what happens for families who have a child with a disability at the point of assessment and identification of the child's disability. The research examined this experience from the perspective of both the families themselves and the staff of service providers who assess and diagnose children. The methodology included a literature review, review of documentation, and case studies and interviews with families and service providers.
