Summary

This study explores the role of cognitive intelligence and emotional intelligence in the process of coping with examination stress among adolescent students in Sri Lankan government schools. First phase of this mixed method study uses grounded theory methodology to develop a theoretical model to explain the coping of adolescent students where the second phase uses quantitative approach to test the model using structural equation modelling.
