The Potential Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Education Policy

Supervisors

Summary

This research aims to understand the value of policy conclusions in education that are based on AI. The latter transform the actions of students, teachers and leaders into materialized objects - highly regularized computational outputs represented in rows and columns. This project follows these transformations through AI infrastructure - consisting of sociotechnical imaginaries, sensors, code, databases, algorithms and machine learning - to understand the types of different values that are part of making and implementing computational education policy.
