Summary
My research is investigating the acquisition of second language words within the mobile technological contexts, using eye-tracking technology. It aims at determining which medium (mobile phone, tablet, computer, paper), if any, could maximize the acquisition outcomes of new second language vocabulary, and whether word occurrences will influence learning rates across four reading media. Most importantly, from the eye-movement perspective, I will further investigate the relationship, if any, between the learning rate of new words and the eye movements on those words.
