Caitlin Biddolph

PhD Candidate in International Relations
Casual Academic

Caitlin Biddolph is a PhD Candidate and Sessional Academic in International Relations. Supervised by Dr Penny Griffin and Associate Professor Elizabeth Thurbon, her doctoral research uses queer theory to explore and interrogate discourses of gender and sexualtiy at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). Caitlin draws on queer theory, feminism, poststructuralism and discourse analysis to deconstruct the ways that violence is represented at the ICTY through gendered and sexualised logics.
