I am a proud Aboriginal Australian living in Sydney, and my family comes from Erambie Aboriginal Reserve at West Cowra on Wiradjuri Country.
I am a Research Fellow at the Social Policy Research Centre within the University of NSW specialising in qualitative inquiry, Indigenous research methods and child protection research and policy. In 2016 I completed my PhD in Social Work/Social Policy investigating Aboriginal parents’ and workers’ perceptions on child safety and wellbeing.
I am also a cultural student advisor for Aboriginal Social Work students at UNSW, providing cultural supervision, mentoring and support.
