How is it that we all have a closet full of clothes yet still nothing to wear to uni?! Your uni outfits don’t need to break the bank. Ultimately, you’ll need something that you can sit in for long stints on public transport and lectures, something that is comfortable to walk from top to bottom campus in and something that is effortless but also stylish…well that’s the dream, isn’t it?

Here are 5 top tips for your uni-style outfits:

Arts Style - Tshirt and Jeans 1. Comfort is key at university! You’ll be sitting for long periods of time so loose fitted clothing is essential. A basic t-shirt and some comfy jeans will soon become your go-to uniform. Accessorise it with some sunnies or hat for lunch times on the library lawn.
Arts Style - Jumpers 2. Air-conditioned lecture theatres and cool evening tutorials are inevitable, so ensure you have some extra layers with you, a cardigan, hoodie or denim jacket will do the trick.
Arts Style - Formal Wear 3. A uni wardrobe staple is a formal outfit. Have a blazer, button up shirt, or even a suit ready for presentations and internship interviews. First impressions do count!
Arts Style - Footwear 4. Comfortable footwear is a must! Sneakers are simple and effortless. Boots are cool, convenient and take your outfit from day to night. Sandals or thongs, a reliable friend in summer.
Arts Style - Backpack 5. There’s nothing worse than juggling a tonne of textbooks. Invest in a good backpack to carry all your school necessities.
