How did you first find out about your program at UNSW?

I first found out about my program at the UNSW Open Day 2014.

What attracted you most to the program?

The well structured practical elements of the course appealed to my interests in media production. The various subjects available throughout the course hone in on practical skills, engaging with professional level equipment and software to prepare students for future application.

What do you enjoy most about the program and why?

The combination of practical and theoretical subjects allows me to engage with both creativity and logic in a way that is enjoyable and engaging.

What type of career do you hope to have and do you feel well equipped for it?

I hope to obtain a career as a producer or writer in a commercial production company. The teaching staff and facilities for UNSW Media (Screen and Sound) are well above the rest and have greatly assisted in providing my confidence in my employability in the media industry.

What inspires you most about your area of interest?

The broad scope of possibilities. There are a multitude of opportunities at every level of the production industry, allowing for career flexibility which Media (Screen and Sound) prepares students for through teaching the practical application of a wide range of skills.
