Grand Challenges Postgraduate Conference

Grand Challenges: Origins, Opportunities and Solutions is the fifth annual Arts and Social Sciences Postgraduate Student Conference to be held at UNSW Sydney.

In accordance with UNSW’s Grand Challenges (a university-wide initiative to lead debate and shape the public discourse on the biggest issues facing humanity), this year’s postgraduate conference will explore the ‘grand challenges’ relevant to all disciplines of the Arts and Social Sciences.

Going beyond the identified challenges of climate change, refugees, migrants and inequality, Grand Challenges: Origins, Opportunities and Solutions seeks to bring together and showcase postgraduate researchers addressing the grand challenges of their discipline: uncovering their origins, engaging with their opportunities, and crafting their solutions.
