UNSW Language and Literacy Education, including Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), focuses on the teaching and learning of languages and literacy in both English-speaking and non-English-speaking nations.

You'll dive into the learning and teaching of English, languages other than English and English as a second or additional language/dialect (EAL/D). You’ll understand the implications of pedagogy, curriculum design and assessment and evaluation in schools, community organisations and higher education institutions.

Flexible & affordable

We offer online courses and affordable study options with Commonwealth Supported Places and the opportunity (for eligible students) to pay or defer fees through FEE-HELP. International and interstate students are particularly welcome, with supervised TESOL placements able to be arranged in your local school or educational institution.
