Denton Callander, a postgraduate student at CSRH, took out second place in the FASS final of the 3 minute thesis competition. In September he will be competing at the UNSW Interfaculty final.
This competition provides research candidates the opportunity to present their thesis topic and its significance in just 180 seconds. Denton's topic, Just a preference: exploring concepts of race among gay men online, won him second place and we're wishing him even greater success at the upcoming UNSW Interfaculty final of the competition on 5 September.
