UNSW Arts & Social Sciences is a leading research faculty in Australia for humanities, social sciences, education and creative and performing arts. Thanks, in no small part, to the donors who have helped us continue our innovative research and to educate some of the brightest minds in Australia. We have the capacity to be global leaders, and to share our ground-breaking research with the rest of the world, to be at the forefront of social action and cultural influence internationally. We strive to be the international destination of choice for academic leaders and students with the highest potential.
To achieve this, we seek your partnership.

Teaching & Learning
As educators, we produce graduates who join the workforce as highly skilled teachers and social workers, rigorous researchers and policymakers, creative visionaries, change-makers, communicators, and global citizens. Our graduates continue to make their mark on the world, from Australia’s former Foreign Minister, Bob Carr, to Oscar-winning film producer, Emile Sherman.
As researchers, we aim to bring about social and cultural change in the areas of Social Policy, Education and Health; Development, Rights and Security; and Contemporary Humanities and Creative Arts. The research of our academics and centres is focused on community engagement and we are recognised internationally for our research excellence. The means that our research has enduring value for the community.
Your support can help to give talented students who face disadvantage the opportunity to study at one of Australia’s top Arts and Social Sciences faculties, help increase our ability to attract outstanding academics from leading universities to teach here in Australia or help us provide solutions to the most significant social issues affecting the globe.
