Max is a research fellow at the Centre for Social Research in Health. His work is in the areas of viral hepatitis, HIV, illicit drug use, harm reduction and drug policy.

Dr Max Hopwood is a Research Fellow with the Centre for Social Research in Health.

Research Summary
Max graduated with a doctorate from the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience at Maastricht University, and is a social psychologist who works across the fields of hepatitis C, HIV, illicit drug use, harm reduction, and drug policy.
