Further Education & Professional Development

Single course enrolment

Students attending a short courseYou don’t have to be enroled in a full degree to study with us at UNSW Arts & Social Sciences.

Many of our postgraduate courses can be studied as a single-course enrolment on a non-award basis. This gives you the opportunity to study in an area specific to your professional or personal interest. Your single course may also count as credit towards a future UNSW degree.

Applications for single-course enrolment are processed by the Central Admissions Office.

Professional development and short courses

Education professionals

In addition to our vast suite of degrees and single-course enrolments, we also provide opportunities for professional development and accreditation.

The School of Education offers a number of professional development and short courses for students, teachers and researchers who are interested in updating or acquiring additional skills.

All of these courses are accredited by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), as we are an endorsed provider of Institute-registered Professional Development for the maintenance of accreditation at Professional Competence.
