The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Awards Ceremony 2008

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences annual Award Ceremony was held on the 29th of May, to celebrate the achievements of students.

The event was held in the Ritchie Theatre in the John Niland Scientia Building and hosted by Dean, Professor James Donald. Over 200 guests attended, including students, their families and friends, prize donors, and staff.

The evening was also an opportunity to showcase some of the Faculty’s talented students, with a musical performance by Baher Shenouda and Casey Golden, both 3rd year Bachelor of Music Students, and a media display drawn from student projects.

The Awards Ceremony is always a wonderful occasion to celebrate the Faculty’s outstanding students and their achievements. The event also provides an opportunity for the Faculty to acknowledge all of our generous prize donors and their continuing commitment to higher education.

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences would like to again congratulate all students who were nominated as a prize or scholarship winner for 2008.
