About the School of Languages and Linguistics

The School of Languages and Linguistics offers undergraduate, honours and postgraduate programs in Asian and European Languages and Cultures, Linguistics and Translation and Interpreting Studies. The School offers majors in eight languages and Linguistics. Many of our students combine language studies with discipline studies in other Schools and other Faculties. We cater for students with background knowledge in languages by offering them different advanced entry points into our programs. You will find our School Reception on the second floor of Morven Brown Building. The Reception is staffed during office hours and you are welcome to get initial advice and contact academics who can help you with further questions.
