Mid-Year Entry 2011
The UNSW Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is offering 2011 mid-year entry to the Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Social Science programs.
How to Apply
All domestic applicants apply through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). Applications for mid-year entry open in early April and close Friday 10 June. Applications are now open and can be made online through the undergraduate portal at UAC. Mid-year offers to UNSW will be released via UAC at 9am Friday 24 June 2011. Download UAC2011 Mid-Year Admissions Supplement (PDF).
Entry Requirements
Entry requirements will not be lower than those set in January 2011. Fewer places are available for semester 2, therefore entry cut-offs may be higher than they are at the beginning of the year.
Students who completed an Australian Year 12 qualification in 2010 and who have not undertaken tertiary studies may be eligible for HSC Plus.
Applicants who have undertaken tertiary studies should note that UNSW does not consider tertiary studies of less than one year full time. Tertiary studies completed in semester 1 this year are not considered for mid-year admission.
Offers and enrolment
For mid-year admission, UNSW only makes offers in the main round on Friday 24 June. If you receive an offer, accept and enrol online in early July. Relevant information will be included with your offer.
Applications for UNSW's full range of undergraduate programs available in Semester 1 2012 will open in August.
