As the Human Resources Consultant for the Faculty, I provide advice, information and support to all staff on matters such as: Recruitment & selection, Employment benefits (superannuation, leave entitlements, salary rates etc.), Performance Development , HR Policy and Industrial matters.

I also coordinate advice from Central Human Resources departments such as Industrial Relations, Organisation and Staff Development Services and the Salaries Team. I am a member of the Dean's Advisory Committee, the Dean's Equity and Diversity Advisory Committee, the Faculty Management Team, and play a key role in administering the Faculty Academic Staff Mentoring Programme.

I am available Monday to Friday for consultations by appointment, and can also be contacted via telephone and email.

    All new teaching staff will complete a teaching and learning orientation session with the Director of Teaching and Learning, A/Professor Shirley Scott, within their first month of employment.
  3. There is also a wide range of training and development opportunities for Professional Staff, which include face-to-face and online training courses covering everything from learning how to take minutes to senior leadership development; University wide networks; and a resource library.
