Peer Mentoring

Use your experience to help others - be a mentor

The peer mentoring program links senior students to groups of first-year students.

It is designed to support and encourage new students and give them an opportunity to meet others and learn about the who, what, where and how of uni life.

You may remember back to your first year and what it was like for you when you first walked onto campus or into a lecture theatre. Now it's your chance to make a difference to that transition.

A mentor is:

Why should I volunteer?

This program offers great benefits to mentors.

It is an opportunity for you to:

"Both the training and the mentoring experience made me realise how much I've learnt myself from being a student...
I've found it all to be a really rewarding experience.
" — Mentor SJ
