Use your experience to help others - be a mentorPeer Mentors at O-Week, February 2009

The peer mentoring program links senior students to groups of first-year students.

A mentor is:

* a Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences second, third or fourth-year student, in 2010
* keen to share their experience with others
* motivated to acquire and use new skills
* a listener and a doer

Perfect Pitch - in Japanese

UNSW has had a clear win in a prestigious Japanese language competition.Japanese Competition Winners 2009

The University won every prize in two divisions and came first in the third division at the 40th Japanese Language Speech Contest.

All nine UNSW students who participated in the event won a prize.
