UNSW has more than 170,000 alumni in 124 countries worldwide, many in top positions in blue-chip companies.
UNSW attracts many international students and some countries have organised UNSW alumni chapters, including Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand. Graduation ceremonies are held regularly in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.
The UNSW Alumni Association is a student’s link to the university after graduation, and it offers a range of services to help alumni stay in touch with the University and each other. Many alumni stay in touch for personal reasons; others stay in touch because of the professional networking opportunities.
