Getting Involved

For many graduates their university years have proven their most formative, filled with enriching experiences and new opportunities.

These experiences needn't come to an end. There are many ways that our alumni continue to be actively involved in our faculty.

Student Internship

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers selected second and third year students the opportunity to pursue work experience in their vocation and/or area of passion. An internship gives each student the chance to see a work environment in operation, whilst at the same time providing the opportunity to explore career options.

If your organisation is able to offer internship placement to our students, please contact Zarni Jaugietis, Program Manager Student Development, on +61 2 9385 1443 or email zarni@unsw.edu.au.

Scholarships, Awards and Prizes

The gift of a scholarship, award or prize can make a significant difference to the life of a UNSW student.

Establishing a Scholarship, Award or Prize at UNSW recognises student achievement and can also assist students in disadvantaged situations - such as financial hardship or rural isolation - who otherwise may not have the opportunity to attend UNSW.

Another option is to support an existing scholarship in specific areas such as Indigenous education, rural isolation and research excellence.
Scholarships, Awards & Prizes can be established in any of the Faculties at UNSW and can be for an undergraduate or postgraduate student.

For more information about providing financial assistance to students click here or contact Alison Rapaud, Development and Alumni Manager by phone on +61 2 9385 8861 or email a.rapaud@unsw.edu.au.
