Our Environment
- Located in three buildings on the Kensington Campus.
- The Sir Robert Webster building (on mid-campus) is a purpose built space that houses the high tech discipline of Media, the performance space of Music and Theatre, Film and Dance and the National Centre for HIV Social Research.
- The Morven Brown building on upper campus houses the traditional humanities and social sciences disciplines.
- The professional disciplines of Education and Social Work are located in the Matthews building on upper campus.
- Computer labs are located in all three buildings providing ease of access.
- New secure area for first year research students with 24 hour computer access, lounge, kitchen and dedicated workstations.
- Performance space includes:
- 2 purpose built dance studios
- fully operational public theatre (Io Myers Theatre)
- student performance space (used by the student theatrical society - NUTS)
- a state of the art electronic music laboratory
- a music recording studio
- video edit suits
- sound laboratories
- cinema for film and video viewing
- high tech recording studio for video and film productions
- multimedia laboratories
- language laboratories for learning, translation and interpreting.
