The annual AAPAE conference is the longest established conference in Australasia in the area of Professional and Applied Ethics. Sessions and presentations have regularly dealt with a variety of topics, ranging from ethical issues in health care, to business ethics, ethical issues in education, research ethics, public sector ethics, and many others. Presenters have included academics and practitioners form a variety of fields, and keynote speakers drawn from prominent roles in public and professional life.
Papers, presentations, and workshops are invited from academics and practitioners with interests in all areas of professional and applied ethics.
Conference sessions will include keynote addresses, paper presentations, and workshops.
The conference is being held at the University of New South Wales, in Sydney.
The conference common room and the venues for papers, presentations,and workshops are located in the Morven Brown Building, situated at the upper campus -- Gate 8, High Street, Kensington. Some keynote addresses will be located in larger venues nearby.
One-day registration is available.
The conference dinner will be on the evening of June 13. The cost of the dinner is included in the conference registration fees for those registering for the entire conference.
A number of campus food outlets are available for lunches during the conference.
Sessions on June 12, 13, and 14 will include submitted papers and presentations, workshops, and keynote speakers.
The standard length for a paper presentation is 40 minutes.

The conference will take place at the UNSW's Kensington Campus. The university campus is conveniently located in the suburb of Kensington, only seven kilometres from Sydney CBD (central business district). It is easily accessible from the city and the many nearby seaside suburbs. The main entrance to UNSW is on Anzac Parade. The conference venue (Morven Brown Building) is an 8-minute walk from this entrance to the upper campus.
