Broadly, the issues to be covered in this session may include:
- Current ethical dilemmas in mental health care.
- Tensions in allocating resources for mental health.
- The place of involuntary treatment.
- Standards of care for involuntary treatment.
The session will be in two parts:
- A number of short presentations on current ethical dilemmas in mental health care.
- A hypothetical, involving a number of prominent people in the area, will be presented which will highlight some of the real ethical issues faced by those involved in mental health care.

Three fellows from the ADFA will be presenting three short papers. They are:

The presentation of the above short papers is followed by a general discussion.
